NEW STUDIO!
Christina Russ Photography is moving down to Old Town! Studio Hours will be by appointment so give me a call and I'd be happy to set up a time to meet up with you! {707.443.2095} I will be all settled in there with in the next couple weeks... and I'll post some pics of the studios interior once I finish decorating!

My very first, and long awaited for - Not So Daily BLOG...
What a crazy, busy year this has been already! Sorry to all those who are waiting for my official website to be updated and posted online! It will come soon & be wonderful and very informative... I promise!
On the 12th I had the honor of taking pics for a Nick & Launa as they had a super sweet impromptu elopement midway down the trail at College Cove in Trinidad... There ceremony was short and sweet as they huddled under an umbrella beneath a grove of trees near a cliff overlooking the Pacific. Of course January days in Humboldt tend to be a bit damp to say the least but that didn't get them down. They were so joyful and Launa looked so beautiful in her simple silk dress... with black leggings and thick leg warmers underneath to keep her warm. ;) (Only in Humboldt County could we get away with this!) They had to Elope to be officially married for 6 months so that when they join the peace corps a month or so after their wedding in May they will be stationed in the same exotic part of the world together... I am putting together a mini Wedding Album of some of their favorite images to share with their families when they have their official ceremony at The Lost Whale Inn, in Trinidad in May. With the first Bridal Fair of 2008, brings a flurry of couples looking to get all the details sorted out and booked up for their weddings this Summer & Fall. I still have a few summer and fall dates available - call me if your interested and we can get together to talk about ideas and options!
